myles work in alter bridge is great. can't seem to get into this song. seems a bit too generic. hope that the album contains more variety than apocalyptic love.
on a positive note, the artwork is fantastic.

flapjack- I agree with you on the Alter Bridge statement, I absolutely *love* that band. AB III is an amazing album. I think this song is all that Slash intended for it to be, a catchy 4 minute rock song. Everyone that's heard the album is praising Battleground as the epic, so I'm thinking Slash is holding back the best until the album comes out, like he did with Anastasia on Apocalyptic Love I'm really looking forward to World On Fire, I don't think I'll be disappointed. I agree with your statement on the artwork as well, it looks awesome. It's a departure from his previous ones, but it looks badass
